I make my husband tortillas wraps
with different flavored tortillas the options are endless....
can fill tortilla w/ lettuce and shredded chicken w/ cheese/ranch dressing
he gets pudding and some sort of fruit.....
fill tortilla w/ tuna salad
use cold pack.....if you want something to stay hot....heat a foil wrapped brick in the oven and put in cooler have hubby use a thermos for soups....

He takes a cooler with him. He eats Pittsburg Hot links cold, wrapped in a slice of bread.
The tuna salad sounds good, as he can keep things cold easily.

My kids love tuna salad but their lunches sit in hot lockers at school all morning. I don't want them to get sick.

If I were going to do this I would get one of those cans of chesse that squirt, and fill the donut with chesse. Chesse has a lot of protein in it and is good for you.

Donut sammies sounds like a really fun food! I may have to try that. Peanut butter and jelly is obvious, but maybe something like egg salad? Hmmmm......
One way to liven up and vary boring sandwich lunches is to change out the bread for something more interesting. Like stuff refrigerated roll dough with sandwich filling before baking. Or using tortillas to make a wrap. Or make those yummy ham and cream cheese rollups that I always see at potlucks.

You can eat donuts or cheese 'n crackers. You don't need to heat them.

Now I am confused!
You say he doesn't have a microwave so how can he eat hot links all the time?
I would suggest fancier sandwiches or salads that don't have mayo in them. Like potato salad with Italian dressing. I bet he'll love Kraft ZESTY Italian. My hubby practically drinks the stuff.
Or does he have a way to keep things hot. Like hot links? Because I don't think it's safe to eat hot links that have been sitting around in a lunch boxand are not reheated.

Hi I'm new here and need help with husbands lunch box menu. He works construction and has no access to microwave, etc. I would like ideas for his lunch besides plain sandwiches or hot links.
Thanks, Jean
