I've never heard of once a month cooking either, but I have heard of once a week cooking. I've done it a few times.

Loril, If you need more time in your day and want to take a lot of the prep work and time out of the dinner rush hour, this is the way to go! I have done it for about 3 months now, and I just can't believe how easy it is. We have also drastically cut down on our eating out, because we always have something homemade just minutes from being ready. Try doing a search with "Once a month cooking" there are thousands of sites. The best site and book I've found is 30 day gourmet. They have the best planning sheets.

Once a month cooking

I enjoy cooking once a month and freezing. I am getting tired of the same old recipes, so is DH! Do any of you do it, and do you have any tried and true recipes for this?
