As loyal Kraft Community members we have heard your desire to do more fun things in the community and we are happy to announce in January 2010 we will be making some changes so you can connect and share food ideas in more ways than ever! The cook in your life!

Eight or nine months back I saw something on the news on my way out the door to work about a 90+ year old woman. He grandson wanted to preserve her cooking so he asked if he could tape her. She said yes and that is how Clara Cannucciari came to cooking fame. I looked her up on youtube and quickly fell in love with this woman and her cooking. So this was all started by someone who wanted preserve the cooking and stories of their family history. (You can look her up and watch the videos, and her family has published an amazing book with her stories and recipes. Ok, I just did some searching to see if I could find a link to share. I have always loved to cook. Most of the people in my family who have the stories are gone. My maternal grandparents were both 1 of nine children. Both being some of the youngest in their families. So how to say that I am young in an older generation, many of my first cousins have children my age. So there are few left who can share stories and recipes with me.

Is there someone in your family that has inspired you with stories and recipes that you continue to share with your children and grandchildren?
