I reheat pizza by warming it slightly in the microwave and then sliding it into a hot frying pan to crisp the crust. I won't use the oven unless I'd be reheating several pieces.

One of the best ways to keep a more original texture to pizza when reheating it, is to place it back into the oven. Generally I do so by just placing the pizza on a piece of tin-foil. It seems to work well for me!

I wonder if you reheat the re-frozen pizza on a baking stone if that would help the crust from being so soggy?

make yourself a mini-pizza. Use a english muffin or keep the frozen bread roll dough on hand and just thaw one roll at a time. Flatten it out for your crust.

But to answer your question, I HAVE frozen leftover pizza & I have reheated it in the microwave. Yes, it tastes OK, but I have not successfully recreated the texture. That is probaby due to the microwave, not the freezing.

pita bread makes a good crust for small pizza too, and you can buy whole wheat for an extra nutritional punch!

You could make individual servings of pizza by using a whole wheat tortilla, topping with the fixings of your choice, cheese then baking (I use a baking stone) for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and veggies are cooked.

Smart Pizza Supper

I am cooking for just myself. I don't want to waste the whole pizza and I doubt I'll put up with eatting a piece fo pizza for each meal until it's gone. (Kind of not healthy too!!)

My questions is, has anyone had success in freezing individual slices of pizza after the whole thing has been cooked?
