The Holiday '09 issue of food&family began arriving in homes on October 26th. We ask that you please wait 10-14 days to receive it. If at that time you have not received your Holiday '09 magazine, please send us an email by clicking here or call us at 1-800-521-4403, and we will be more than happy to assist you. If you have subscribed recently, it could take between 8-10 weeks for delivery. The food & family magazine has been part of so many of our loyal consumers lives that we didn’t want to have to stop printing it. The nominal fee helps us continue the printed edition as well as enhance the great recipe and food ideas you’ve come to love from us. There are also other wonderful ways to enjoy the magazine content and more - we have a Recipes-By-Email program, www.kraftfoods.com, and the online edition of Food & Family magazine too – all for free.

The mixture needs to be really, really cold. It takes a bit of practice making them round, but the chocolate hides a lot of flaws. Mine never did look perfect, but they were close and tasted great.

I'm not sure about the coupon but does anyone know about how to make the truffles so that the cream cheese and chocolate mixture is smooth so that I can scoop them with a melon baller without them breaking?

Your best bet would be to call customer service and explain what happened, they should have your information on file there.

Welcome to the Message Boards
I can't help with the coupon code but at the top of the page is "food & family Archive" and you can get all the recipes from current and past issues there.

I lost/misplaced my Holiday copy of Food and Family (seriously am bummed, I was looking forward to trying the fudge recipes) before I entered the coupon code. Will I still receive my Food and Family?

The Winter/Holiday edition of food & family had a special cover flap for some people that included a promotional code for printing out coupons for some Kraft products such as Maxwell House coffee.
It also notified people that beginning with the first issue in 2009, there will be an online version of the magazine and if we have your e-mail address, you will be notified when that online version is available. At this time, it appears there will also be the printed version as well.
Hope this helps.

My Fall/Winter edition arrived just in time. I was skimming through cookbooks looking for ideas for a baked good sale. Imagine my delight when the magazine arrived filled with great temptations. I have all my back issues in a binder on my cookbook shelf. We lost the calendar, I hope we don't lose the magazine as well.

I was also wondering if this was a slow introdruction to going paperless. I too can understand the need, but I love to have the hard copy. Its so much easier to cook with and to share.

Does anyone know why only certain people received the "important notice" on the front cover?

If you are being told that the password isn't valid, then it is b/c your household must have more than one account with kraft. The one the magazine is attached to is not the same one that you're using to sign in. You may have created a second one (with the magazine) and forgotten about it, or maybe the magazine is attached to the account of someone else in your household.
For the person who got the "username taken", it means that you must have signed up for the magazine, and at a different time, signed up for kf.com, and the two records aren't matched (maybe you used diff't email addresses, or possibly there was no info that could match it back to the kf.com registration.) In that case, you just need to create a kf.com registration on the account that is recognizing the magazine.

I tried last week to get these coupons and they told us to try again in two or three days. It's been at least three days and it still says that I have an invalid password. Strange, I can still log in with it. Is the new online edition with the $5 coupons still not working or is it me?

Is it possible that your household has more than one online account and you are using the pword to the account that is not connected to the magazine? The pword may be attached to the email address you used for the Forgot Password, but that doesn't mean it is for the username and account that includes the mag subscription (we have two accounts in my house, and the magazine in on mine, not my daughter's)
