Hey everybody!
I love making homemade pizza's. And you can grill them????? who knew????? lol. well I like making my pizza's with Flat Bread. Just spread tomatoe sauce over a slice of Flat Bread and add shredded cheese. I like to microwave mine for about 45 seconds or until the cheese melts

Those grilled pizzas sound like how you make a calzone, just grilled. OMG I LOVE calzones. I may have to give that a try. My sister grills out all summer, so next time I'm over there, maybe I'll bring the food lol

THE best pizza I ever had was on the grill. Here's an abbreviated recipe: Get a package of pizza dough and cut in half or quarters Roll out a circle - not too big or it will be hard to turn Put olive oil on one side and grill Bring in and put oilive oil on un-done side, turn that side face down Top grilled site with whatever is your favorite stuff (my favorite was canned whole tomatoes with feta cheese, fresh basil and dates - really - try it!) Take it back to the grill and grill the other side YUM

Grilling Pizza is really great to do especially when it is hot out side that way you don't have to heat up your house. Another thing that I do is use pita pockets on the BBQ and they are great it is like everyone gets there own personal pizza.

You can also (usually) purchase pizza dough from local pizza shops (or even many markets). Just keep it in the fridge until you're ready to use it. It freezes great if you don't plan to use it that day or the next. Just pop it into the fridge to defrost- it will take about a day. Then just top and bake. (Or grill!)

Welcome to the community, JLVill! I've used this idea and the bagel one and they make some GREAT little pizzas. Haven't tried the pita one. I wonder if that makes a "Hot Pockets"-type pizza? lol Sounds yummy, though.

Bagels are good for pizza if someone likes 'thicker' crust, too.

Whole pitas are also a nice crust for pizza. They are just the right size for one person.

Pizza by the Slice....
Croissant rolls spread out by individual slice on a lightly greased pan. Spread with pizza sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings. Cook about 10 minutes at 375. Yum and the kids love it, so easy.

Great idea, kitchencooker, and welcome to the Kraftfoods community. I live out in the boonies, so pizza to me generally means fixing it at home. I like to keep a couple of frozen pizzas around that I can add my own favorite toppings, but I've also made them totally from scratch. All good.
