Kraft is a great company. I think that you should have noticed that their packages haven't had points on them for quite some time. So, where were you getting the points for the last year? I think you should give Kraft foods another chance, since that is kind of silly to be upset about. Hope you work it out.

Wow, I just have to ask the author of this complaint, 5000 points? Really? Your complaint is that the kids "enjoy drinking Kool-Aid and enjoy a toy or two in return". I know that all pouches of kool-aid had 1pt on them, except for the occasional bonus points where then you would have 2 points. Then you have the canisters and drink pouches usually with 10 points, if I'm not mistaken. REGARDLESS, the point I am trying to make is, it takes ALOT of time to save up 5000 points, (unless you have 10+ kids that drink nothing but koolaid all day, everyday for a year or so). My question is, how often did "the children" get their toy or 2? I can't imagine they had very many when the worthless pieces of papers were obviously being collected and not redeemed or you would not have "5000 points"!! You make it such an issue of it "being for the children" that one has to wonder where you're coming from...? Bottom line is, the children will not be scarred from a lack of koolaid toys unless you continue to make it an issue to them. If you're really that concerned about it, take them to your local Dollar Store and buy them a toy or 2 there and all will be good! There are far BIGGER problems in this world than no more koolaid points Don't sweat the small stuff, really, it's not a catastrophe. Good luck to you.

So they're pretty much cutting out unhealthy, overly processed foods. Sounds like a win-win.

To those that threaten to never purchase any more products by the Kraft company: I hope you realize how many other products are owned by Kraft. Nabisco, Boca, Back to Nature, and Oscar Mayer to name a few. I guess no more bologna sandwiches and cookies in little Johnnies lunchbox! Get real -- there are many worse things to worry about in this country right now than a redemption program for KoolAid points that has been discontinued. Count your blessings!

Really, over points, you will never buy a product made by Kraft. Get over it. They are just paper and you spend more on shipping than the products worth. This is not a real issue for concern!

Unfortunately, Kool-Aid Points were discontinued on June 30, 2007. Prior to the discontiuation, it was announced that points could be redeemed through that date or until supplies ran out.

Well you should have let the woman know. Or at least cut her a deal with the remaining points.

Shame on the Kraft Company. Its would have been nice for consumers to get notice when offers are going to be discontinued. Our family has around 5000 pts. Now they are worthless pcs of paper. But Kraft will suffer in the long run. Our family will not purchase any more products by this Company. They show little loyality to their customer base. They take US and our MONEY for granted. Some ppl would say Not to make a big deal out of points!! But the gifts were for our children. They enjoyed drinking the kool-aid, and getting a gift or two in return.
