Aww, congratulations on the baby, hope everything goes well!

Soup would give you a lot of food with little work. If you have a bread machine some bread to "sop up" the broth would help make it filling, too. Chocolate cream pie with a graham cracker crust and chocolate pudding goes over well, and would be easy for you to mix up, too.

I'm seconding Jane's soup idea. Easy to make the day before, cheap, and easy to reheat. Love the biscuits that she posted too, they are so yummy! The Leftover Turkey Soup you could make it with a couple cooked chicken breasts. Or the Bacon, Cheese & Potato Chowder is super easy and good too.

Congratulations on your baby. It certainly won't be long now. If you have a slow cooker, a big pot of soup to go with fresh fruit, cheese, crackers and cold cuts would be great. Savory biscuits are easy to make go great with sliced ham. I've used this recipe before: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/one-bowl-cheddar-biscuits-74550.aspx.

I am making Christmas lunch for about ten people. I need some ideas that will not be too time consuming and inexpensive. Please keep in mind that I am nine months pregnant and the simpler the better! Anything goes. It does not have to be traditional. Nothing with sausage though because my husband is allergic.
