As internet coupons become more sophisticated and secure, and much more prevalent, more stores will accept them. Early on, they were pretty easy to scam, but that's starting to disappear, and stores are not so likely to lose money on the coupons they send back to the companies.
If enough people want to use internet coupons at a store, the more likely the stores are to change their policies. Afterall, the coupons are a way to drive sales.

Walgreen's as of this month, no longer have the small monthly savings coupon booklets. I ask the management why ? His said, was because of the saving money for Walgreen's. This is the way I understood what I was told. I live in F.L., so I don't know if it is from state to state, or in general. Trying to help.

You got a deal!!! I went to Wal Green the other day and thought I was buying some lotion leftover from Christmas at 50% off.. It rang up 75% off!!!! I got 2 more for gifts later.
I love Wal Greens ads, and their coupons. They put them in the ads and they also have a monthly coupon book. I bought 3 packs of gum for less than what I would have paid for one pack. They have alot of deals like that!

I went shopping last night for a light jacket and thought I was spending $40 on it (It had been $60). They rang it up for $29. Apparently it had been marked down AND there was a sale on it.
Those are the kinds of surprises I like lol They can keep the "ring up for too much" surprises.
Too bad it's rare to get happy accidents like that in a grocery store.

I always keep my eye on Wal-mart, as I am shopping I write the price down on my list next to the item and watch them as they ring it up, so far they haven't made a mistake with me!! They don't always have what I need, so it is off to Publix for the product even though it is more expensive there.

walmart did a thing at one time: if the item scans wrong they will give you the difference, but they stopped that. I think they realized they made money off their price errors and most people do not check their items as they are being scanned or their receipts. I DO! My hubby works hard for our money and I am not going to willingly let another business or person steal it, which is what they are doing when they overcharge...steal! I keep a close eye on the register as they ring up my items!

blessedmommy, I have that happen all the time when I shop at Kohl's. They are famous for not having their sale prices entered correctly so I watch everything that is scanned and 2 out of 3 times at least one thing is wrong. I usually complain a little and end up getting an additional discount, once I got 15% off my entire purchase above and beyond the sale prices.

I LOVE COUPONS! I agree, that there are often products that I normally would not purchase due to budget, but with a coupon, I do not blow my grocery budget for the month. I do alot of comparing when I shop, too. I also make stores match the cost, and compare the price per ounce of something. Sometimes a package that has twice as much in it, is actually 2-6 cents more per ounce than buying 2 of the smaller package. My cell phone has a calculator and I am always punching # on it to save. We all need a break when it comes to grocerys. In 1 week, a 5lb bag of sugar went from $2.36 to $3.16 at our Wal Mart and the 1st of Jan it was $2.00. You have to really watch Wal mart, you get use to a product being one price and then boom one day it goes up, and 2 weeks later goes back down. For 2 month straight I battled ours over diapers. They were priced $14.97 and would ring up $16.97. That's $2 overcharge. Everytime I had to have them do a price check and I would get it at the correct price. But how many other people paid the extra $2 without noticing????? Tricky Tricky

I love coupons!! I use them all the time. I was told that the stores would not accept coupons printed off the computers so I never bothered to do that, I only cut them out of the ones I get from the Sunday paper.

Coupons for a family of six are a must have, my husband, children, and I all have dietary restrictions. I saved over $60 today alone in coupons and store specials. I too print from all over the web, my children get into the act as well. They are able to compare cost and ingredients, as something may be less expensive but not very healthy. I purchase Kraft products with every shopping trip as they offer a large variety.

I print cou[ons off of this site, and other sites as well. If you are interested, get back to me, and I'll give you my personal email, and coupon sites, I don't want to "do" other sites on the Kraft site....

Yes, I agree
Coupons are a big help for those of us on a tight budget who would love to buy a few little extra goodies to make our cooking and baking better.
Sometimes fifty cents off a product makes the extra item within my budget.
I use up to 10 dollars in coupons every month.
