Cook meat. Then add all ingredients into crockpot for about 1-2 hours for flavors to blend. That's it!

I concur that you need to pre-cook your beans or use canned beans. You might consider making a pot of beans, then freezing the left overs for chili another time, or for a second night.
I tend to use canned black beans in my chili, because I'm meal planning challenged, but I also freeze pints of beans when I cook them.
I use so many cans of black beans, I'm thinking about canning my own.

I have what I consider to be an awesome chili recipe for the slow cooker. I actually use canned chili beans. Here's what you need:
1.5 lbs. gr. beef (or gr. turkey if you prefer) 10.75 oz. tomato soup 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes with chiles 16 oz. chili hot beans (or medium if you don't like hot) Lawry's chili seasoning packet (or any brand) chopped onion can water (10.75)
Add everything to slow cooker and stir. I let simmer for several hours so the flavors can combine. This doesn't make a huge batch. Enjoy

I found this: Raw beans cannot be added to chili. Even beans that have been soaked overnight take longer to cook than the chili itself. You need to cook the beans thoroughly first before using them in any chili recipe. Never add half cooked beans to chili either as they will never finish cooking in your chili.
Directions for Cooking Beans
You will need 1 pound of dried beans of choice (pinto or kidney would be best for chili recipes) that have been cleaned and soaked overnight in 3 quarts of cold water.
Remove any beans that float, then drain beans and replace water with 3 quarts of clean, cold, fresh water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 2 to 3 hours until beans are easily pierced with a fork. If more water is needed while cooking, only add hot water during the cooking process.
Drain beans and add salt to taste

I would love to hear them. Even if they have canned beans. I just have a cupboard of dried ones that I don't know what to do with. So maybe I can find another use for them.

From what I have done with dried beans, they all need to be precooked before using in a recipe. They will not soften up enough to eat if you don't -- and if they are old they will not soften either So, it is easier ot make things using the canned beans.
Here is a site with information on cooking with dried beans.

I've never tried a chili recipe w/dried beans. Hopefully somebody has a recipe b/c I would like to see one too. Otherwise like Anna, I use canned beans for my chili.
