What about the brown and serve biscuits? They are in the bread section at our grocery. There are split top rolls and Italian bread sticks.

We tried the frozen biscuits and they were ok, but we still prefer the tube buscuits. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Try using the frozen biscuits. I believe they are by Pillsbury and are in a resalable bag so you can cook as many as you need. I only cook for two as well so the tube biscuits do not work well for me either. Don't worry about them being frozen in 11 mins they bake up just as good as the ones from the tube.
Good Luck

Thank You for your suggestions! lol, right after I posted this question, my boyfriend came running in to tell me he saw a comercial for the frozen biscuits. Too late, already posted! We're going to try the frozen kind! And I will definitely try your biscuit recipe. We just like the butter flavored flakey biscuits. Now if only I had a receipe for that!!!

Why not try making biscuits from scratch? Here's my recipe and it makes 6 biscuits... and is 20 mins from start to hot fresh biscuits. Freeze what you don't use after they're baked off.
Preheat oven to 450.
1 Cup All purpose flour 1/4 tsp Salt 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1/4 tsp Baking Soda 2 TBLS of shortning 2 tsp size chunk of butter 1/2 cup of Buttermilk
Stir up dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, cut in fats by squeezing flour and fats thru your fingers or with two table knives, mix buttermilk with a spoon into fat covered dry ingredients till dry ingredients are moistened..no more. Drop biscuits into/onto any baking pan and cook 12 to 15 mins.

plus the frozen ones taste so much better. there are also the portioned out biscuits that you microwave. i think they come in a quantity of 8 or 12 and they are portioned out in 2s.

Why not just buy the frozen biscuits? They bake in about 20 minutes and you only take out the number of biscuits that you need.

You can by frozen unncooked biscits at the store. So maybe you should try freezing them. Check baking time on the frozen packages at the store.

I cook for two, and the cans in the refridgerator section have more biscuits than we can eat in one sitting. And they just don't taste as good the next day reheated. Is there a way to save the uncooked biscuits in the freezer or refridgerator for longer than a day or two?!!? Also if there is, would I have to adjust my cooking time or temperature for just two or four biscuits?
